A veteran of 澳门足彩app’s Summer Internship Program, Stefan Langebeeke returned as one of only two third-year interns in the Class of 2020. Over the years, he has developed his architectural skills and seen his responsibilities grow.
When he began, he was pursuing a Bachelor of Design from the University of Florida’s School of Architecture. He since has graduated and moved on to Clemson, where he will graduate in Spring 2021 with his Master of Architecture degree. Along the way during his three engagements, he has become an essential 澳门足彩app team member.
Langebeeke spent his first summer working on a project to renovate Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor, Florida, where he learned Revit, a design modeling software, observed the planning and design processes, and edited design layouts.
During his second year, he gained experience in an unexpected way when he took part in the relocation of the Charlotte, North Carolina office specializing in healthcare design. Even though the move was to a space only two miles away, his team spent the majority of the summer organizing and laying out the new space.
“It wasn’t what I expected to be working on, but it was so important to see what goes into all that strategy and planning and how you move people,” Langebeeke said. “We have engineers. We have architects. We have interior designers. We have a marketing department. We have everything under the sun. How you accommodate everybody was really important to be working on.”
Langebeeke returned this summer to work again with 澳门足彩app, and now, with the benefit of education and experience, he feels proud that his supervisors have recognized his growth and counted on him for even more.
“They give me my work, and they expect me to get it done,” he said. “They know I’m capable. That first year, I really needed to learn, and I always had someone in my corner, where I could ask questions constantly. Now, I know the expectations and if I have questions, I know how to work through them.”

澳门足彩app welcomed 58 interns worldwide during Summer 2020, including 14 returning for a second year and two returning for a third. The Class of 2020 draws from a record 30 colleges and universities.
This year, 澳门足彩app’s interns are working at 12 different offices and 15 different jobsites across 11 different states, with one in Singapore.
澳门足彩app’s Summer Internship Program produces results: 23 members of the 2019 class have joined the company as full-time employees.
